I like this quote a lot.  I read his short story Metamorphosis.  It was kinda creepy.

I got to read that one too, but it was for a high school course so, blah, not sure if that counts since it was forced upon me.

I also read it in high school  Twice I think.  I think I read it on my own before I was made to later in class though.  I was bored a lot in high school since I found I didn’t really have to pay attention much in class to do well.  I’d often flip through and read stories in my literature book during lectures rather than take notes.  I remember reading the story first then.  I also read The Yellow Wallpaper on my own before we did in class too.  That’s an interesting story as well.
